Welcome to The Basketball Notebook - your home for in-depth analysis of the NBA.

Why subscribe?

Over the course of a long NBA season, it is easy to get lost in the weeds due to the sheer volume of games and storylines. My job is to parse through that clutter and provide the most relevant and predictive information to the reader. Each Friday, all subscribers receive my weekly thought pieces, which tackle a host of topics both on and off court. Sample article is linked here.

For paying subscribers, your coverage only begins there. You will have access to:

  • A minimum of three additional posts per week

  • My “best bets” - published daily for those who like to have a little extra investment in the games

  • “Instant Analysis” posts - read my thoughts on the biggest games and breaking news without delay

  • Full access to the site archives

  • Full access to the website chat so that you can be a part of a growing community of informed and well-reasoned basketball fans

Your support is what allows The Basketball Notebook to grow and means the absolute world to me. I value each and every reader’s feedback on how to keep improving both the newsletter and site features as I am striving to bring the absolute best and most complete coverage to you. Please consider subscribing below to connect with me and the rest of the The Basketball Notebook community!

About the Author - Will Brady

For as long as I can remember, each NBA season I have captured all my ideas, predictions and other general items of note in a spiral notebook. You can still find them littered throughout my parents house, filled with pages and pages of random basketball content. I only ever kept these musings for my own enjoyment - during basketball season (or really, any other season) I was going to be thinking about basketball, so formalizing those thoughts made watching the NBA every night more fun.

The idea for The Basketball Notebook was born from that habit. My hope is that TBN serves as a vehicle to enhance your NBA viewing experience, a trusty guide to interact with before and after you flip on the games. Now that my basketball playing days are done (I was a thoroughly mediocre division III player, don’t get too excited), working on this newsletter and improving The Basketball Notebook is my small contribution to the game that I love.
